--3B Jhonny Peralta had three of the Indians' five errors in a 4-2 loss to Detroit on Wednesday. It was the Indians' first five-error game since they made five in a game April 22, 1998, against the White Sox. Peralta's three-error game was the first by an Indian since Aaron Boone committed three on July 5, 2006, against the Yankees.

--RHP Carlos Carrasco became the 29th pitcher used by the Indians this season when he started Tuesday's game. The club record for most pitchers used in a season is 32, set in 2000.

--The Indians committed a season-high five errors in their 4-2 loss to Detroit on Wednesday night. 3B Jhonny Peralta had three and SS Asdrubal Cabrera and 2B Luis Valbuena one each.
